Belong

Everyone is welcome at Crestwood, no matter where you are on your faith journey—no matter the mess you bring to the table or what you can or cannot contribute. Through Jesus’ redeeming work in his life, death, resurrection, and ascension, a place at his table has been secured for us all. Therefore, we seek not only to take our own places at the table, but also to ensure that everyone among us knows they belong there too.

Believe

We believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation. Fully God, he became fully man in order to live the perfect, sinless life we could not live. Throughout his ministry, he demonstrated authority over disease, nature, and demonic powers. In his death, he broke the power of sin, and in his resurrection, he defeated the curse of death once and for all. At Crestwood, we place our faith in the redeeming work of Christ and invite others to do the same.

We affirm all the major creeds of the historical Christian church (Nicene, Apostles, Chalcedonian) and look to the Holy Bible as a primary way God speaks to us and guides us. We believe in the Holy Spirit as the one who empowers us through his gifts to demonstrate the love and power of God to others and live godly lives. See Vineyard USA’s Core Values and Beliefs.

Become

As God’s redeemed people, we are called into his kingdom purposes. We seek to grow continually in Christlikeness, living lives shaped by obedience, generosity, and love. No longer living for ourselves, we offer our whole lives back to God, poured out for his glory and the good of the world.

Some ways you can join us in becoming and bringing God’s kingdom:

• We are becoming more like Christ in our daily lives as we grow together in Christian maturity, community, and mission.
• We are becoming a community of people who serve the people and situations around us with the love and power of God. We seek to be people who serve others both in our daily lives and also intentionally on mission to the community of people who live around Crestwood. Explore Outreach.
• We also serve God’s mission abroad—from the neighborhoods to the nations. Our Serve the Nations ministry regularly leads teams internationally that equip and empower people to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit in everyday places in our lives.
