Discovering and Demonstrating the Kingdom

Discovering and Demonstrating the Kingdom class will provide a weekly environment for community, teaching, and ministry. Teaching topics will include both the theology of the kingdom and practical ministry skills for demonstrating the kingdom in our everyday lives.

Details

When: Sundays 6-8pm, starting June 13th, with breaks approximately every ten weeks
Where: Family Room at Crestwood

Childcare will not be provided. Youth are encouraged to attend youth group in the basement, occurring at the same time.

Resources

We will be drawing from Derek Morphew’s book, Breakthrough (fifth edition), along with other text, video, and audio resources from various teachers, including Crestwood pastors. Participants are highly encouraged to purchase Breakthrough and prepare for class with reading assignments given each previous Sunday.

Participants and Expectations

Discovering and Demonstrating the Kingdom is open to anyone, and anyone would be able to join at any time. We encourage all participants to do the assigned weekly reading ahead of time to be prepared to discuss the topics.
