Easter Celebration and Outreach

We have decided to continue social distancing precautions AND still meet as a church on Easter Sunday. We will use this opportunity to both celebrate the resurrection of Jesus together and reach out to our neighbors around Crestwood.

We will do a stay-in-car, drive-in style gathering Easter morning during our usual service time of 10:30-12:00. We ask everyone to remain in their cars at all times, and also take additional precautions of wearing masks and gloves and using sanitizer.

Here is the plan for this Sunday’s celebration and neighborhood outreach:

  • Meet in your cars at 10:30 at Crestwood Vineyard. We will meet in the north parking lot off of 17th St.
  • Spend the first 20-30 minutes worshipping together and celebrating Jesus’ resurrection.
  • We will also have some baptisms! Join us in celebrating our new brothers and sisters! Please contact us if you also want to be baptized.
  • Drive together into the neighborhoods surrounding Crestwood. We will have a PA system from a flatbed trailer with some of our worship team members (>6 ft apart, of course). We will use the microphones to invite neighbors to come outside to join us in worship or to receive prayer.
  • We will meet back at Crestwood by noon to officially close out the day

How you can prepare for Easter:

  • Have fun! Feel free to make signs or decorations to put on your car doors or windows saying “Happy Easter”, “Jesus is Risen”, “We’d love to pray for you”, or anything similar. Be creative and make it a fun family event.
  • Be safe! Gather masks, sanitizer, and gloves whenever possible.
  • Pray! Pray for God to move in our hearts and in our Crestwood neighbors.
